Robert C. LaRose Joins Greatwide as Chief Financial Officer

DALLAS (July 14, 2009) - Greatwide Logistics Services, a national provider of non-asset-based transportation and third-party logistics services, today announced that Bob LaRose has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

"The addition of Bob LaRose to the team is an important part of the next phase of the company's growth," said Ray Greer, CEO of Greatwide. "Bob will play an instrumental role in realizing the potential that exists in leveraging Greatwide's multiple product lines to create integrated logistics solutions for our clients and core markets."

LaRose will have full financial and accounting responsibility across all four of Greatwide's lines of business: Dedicated Transport, Truckload Management, Distribution Logistics and Freight Brokerage. He will also play a day-to-day role in Truckload Management given his experience with non-asset and agent-based truckload services.

Prior to joining Greatwide, LaRose served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Landstar System, Inc. He has also held a variety of financial leadership roles in both public and private companies that include American Brands, Chiquita Brands and General Host Corporation. LaRose started his career with Arthur Young and is a Certified Public Accountant.
