Greatwide Owner-Operator Named Alabama Trucking Association Driver of the Year

DALLAS (April 15, 2009) - Greatwide Dedicated Transport is proud to announce that Jim Deloney, a Greatwide Owner-Operator since 2006, was recently awarded Driver of the Year by the Alabama Trucking Association.

Mr. Deloney has driven more than three million miles during a driving career spanning 26 years with no collisions or driving violations. He operates out of the Greatwide Operations Center in Brundidge, Ala. and was chosen as the Brundidge Operations Center's Driver of the Year nominee for the 2008 Greatwide Driver of the Year competition.

Recognition for Mr. Deloney includes the Alabama Trucking Association's Annual Awards Celebration in Birmingham, where his award will be presented, as well as attendance at the Alabama Trucking Association's annual convention in Destin, Fla. where he will again be recognized and presented with his award.

When he's not driving, Mr. Deloney serves his community as a volunteer fire fighter in Marley Mill, Ala. and enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and five grandchildren. He can often be found hunting, fishing or working on his farm.
