Among many efforts of support for our local and broader communities, Greatwide's charity of choice is America's Second Harvest. America's Second Harvest - The Nation's Food Bank Network is the largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization in the country with a network of more than 200 member food banks and food-rescue organizations serving all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Last year, the America's Second Harvest Network provided food assistance to more than 25 million low-income hungry people in the United States, including 9 million children and nearly 3 million seniors. Greatwide assists them by supporting them financially and by moving tons of food across the country for them. Last year alone, our "Hauling to End Hunger" campaign netted enough contributions from our company, employees and drivers to supply 182,083 meals.

In addition, Greatwide's own "Hauling to End Hunger" decals are on each company-owned trailer, and we have committed members of the Greatwide information technology department to help redesign the America's Second Harvest logistics system.
